Central to CAPE’s work is the practice of every teacher-artist pair collaborating to develop a unit that will address the needs of their specific students, at their specific point in time. As such, each project targets different goals and has different outcomes, even when it is repeated over multiple years or when it is created as part of a larger, unified plan for a single grade or school. Below, you can explore some of the units that were developed by an artist and a teacher to address the social-emotional and academic needs of their students during the PAIR project.
